G.S.I.C. organizes every year the Jornadas G.S.I.C., an IT security event in which well know security experts from Spain and all around the world present their talks about IT Security and IT Security related fields, from WEB Hacking to the insides of critical infraestructures like Electric Power Grids, i.e. SCADA hacking.
There is also room for talks that don´t requiere a deep IT knowledge, everybody is welcome to come and learn. And that´s our goal, to spread the word and show to the Industry, to the Academic World and to everyone that IT Security is already among us, and it matters.
Workshops will be organized to give the people the oportunity to be taught by great experts on their fields, from web-hacking to reverse engineering. All the details will be announced when they are prepared. Follow us on twitter or via our RSS feed and be the first to know.
Also, as the last year, a hacking competition will take place during the event, a contest in which everybody can get involved and get in contact, in a completly practical way, with the IT security field. Again, follow us to be the first to find out the details.
